Growing Our Clients' Businesses Since 1983

Employee Testimonials

“I chose Image Makers, first and foremost, because of the people—all team members are communicative, approachable, and dedicated to their craft. Beyond that, I was excited to join a team that operated both like a family and as an extension of our clients’ internal teams. I was also drawn to the integrity of the team. There is a transparency here that really helps move the needle for each of the businesses we work with. IMA learns as much as it can about each company’s bottom line to ensure that we are recommending the best offerings within the scope of that client’s needs. It’s about them, not us. Lastly, I was excited to learn. I’ve been in digital marketing for quite a while, but here I can also learn about agency life and the best practices of traditional advertisings—something not offered at many of today’s advertising firms. If the last few months are any indication of the next few years, we will continue to grow, pivot, and find continued success with our clients.”

“I started at IMA as a college intern where I had the opportunity to learn about each department in the agency. After college, I was offered a position on the team. I knew right away that this was the job for me as everyone was incredibly welcoming and I couldn’t imagine myself working for a larger organization. At IMA, there are always growth and learning opportunities available, and everyone gets to collaborate on jobs for our clients. I have loved watching our work advance over the years and enjoyed providing great end results for our clients.

As a small agency, our clients get to know us on a personal level. They know who to contact directly to get the answers to their questions and we make them feel like a part of our team.

I am so glad that I was able to find a job in my field right after college and stay local. As a Carroll alumna and lifelong Waukesha County resident, working at Image Makers has been a perfect fit for me. The employees are like family and our clients make our jobs fun by challenging us with new and interesting marketing opportunities all the time. No two days are the same at IMA.”

“From the moment I sat down in my first interview, I knew this was going to be an environment where I could grow. I was just out of college and didn’t know exactly what direction I wanted to go in, but knew that my career was somewhere in advertising. SEO was something new to the industry that wasn’t exactly a “major” you went to school for, but I heard about it briefly in a class I took and that opened the doors for me at IMA.

After 2 years, I can’t even believe how much IMA has molded me into the professional I am today. Looking back on my past responsibilities and how much my position has shifted throughout the years is mind blowing. Tom and the managers really allowed me to create my own career path and do what I love to do every day—even when I didn’t really know what that was.

Since I started, our company has grown a lot, and I love being a part of that process and helping us be the best agency we can be. My manager (John), the founder of the company (Tom), and the President/Owner (Tina) have always gone the extra step to ensure I’m doing what I love. And really, what more can you ask for? It’s hard to find a company that’s so eager to praise its employees for a job well done and make them feel valued and included. At IMA, it’s a daily occurrence, not just from management, but the entire staff. It’s good to be a part of the team.

We’re dedicated, responsive, ethical, and above all else, we ensure that every client is a priority. And all things marketing and advertising are under one roof. I can’t wait to see where the next few years take me and the new opportunities that will come my way.”

“When the opportunity to join the IMA team presented itself, I didn’t hesitate to jump on board. IMA has an outstanding reputation in the market for its integrity, timeliness, and team work—not only with clients, but also with its media partners. Tina and the rest of the IMAers made me feel right at home. I immediately noticed that the team worked well together and there didn’t seem to be that level of stress and hurriedness that is so common in the advertising industry. Things come together so well because IMA works hand-in-hand with clients, showcasing a true team effort. I’m excited about what lies ahead for Image Makers Advertising.”

“When I walked into my first interview at IMA, I felt a sense of comfortableness—like this was where I was supposed to be. I had the privilege of interviewing with Tom (IMA founder) and Tina (President/Owner), and couldn’t have been more excited when they presented me with the job. They’ve helped me grow so much in the year that I’ve been here. They recognized something in me that has helped me become more confident and improve my abilities. I feel fortunate to have found a company that cares about its employees and invests in their growth and future. My first year has been a blessing and I can’t wait to see where the future takes me here at IMA. We have our own little work family—and it’s a comfortable place to look forward to coming every day. We have a wonderful team.

I think our smaller team and genuine drive to produce quality marketing content, designs, campaigns, etc., is what our clients appreciate most about us. We treat clients like an extension of our work family. When they call, they know the name of who they’re looking for, they’re greeted with a friendly hello, and whatever their needs might be, they’re met with priority and care. Plus, we stay up-to-date on the industry to provide our clients with cutting-edge marketing solutions which makes our jobs especially fun.”

“I joined Image Makers Advertising to gain experience working at an advertising company. I’ve always liked the idea of working on many different projects alongside other departments. I want to continue working here where there are opportunities to grow and I’m surrounded by a team of supportive professionals. The coworkers I have come to know are definitely what makes Image Makers Advertising unique and a great place to work. They have created an open environment where ideas are shared and new team members, like myself, are gratefully welcomed.

I think our clients appreciate that we are a team that works together through every step of the marketing process. We keep our clients up-to-date with improvements, as well as new advancements in the field. We are patient and have a love of sharing the importance of a strong online presence to help our clients grow their businesses.”

“I’m able to work part-time and finish my schooling for what I am doing here at Image Makers. It’s a very family-friendly company which makes it nice with having three kids. I love having flexible hours and appreciate how nice everyone is here. It’s a smaller company where you have a name, not just a number. I think this is what our customers appreciate most—having more personal contact with their marketing providers. They aren’t just shuffled around to multiple people. I also think the fact that Tina works closely with our clients and is readily available to them is a big reason why we gain new clients and keep them.”

“After 12 years of in-house, single-brand corporate marketing, I was ready to go back to an agency. I talked with a lot of firms, but my search ended after meeting with IMA. Part of the appeal of working for an advertising agency is variety and creative collaboration—IMA offers that and more. I especially like that IMA is structured in a way that allows people to focus on what they do best, rather than having traditional account executives who handle all services regardless of their strengths. Here, I do what I love, but still have opportunities to branch out and get involved with new projects. Based on the quality of work, loyalty of clients, and longevity of the agency, it’s a formula that works on all levels. It was a great move for me, and it’s a great feeling to be part of a talented group going in the right direction.”

“I enjoy what I do and having the opportunity to design marketing pieces that help our clients’ businesses. IMA has been in the advertising business for over 30 years and as we’ve grown, it’s allowed us to offer a variety of services to our clients—from traditional (print, billboards, etc.) to non-traditional (social media, online advertising, etc.), and everything in between.”
