Rise and Shine: 13 Reasons IMA Is Starting Its Next Chapter

When unimaginable tragedy hits, even after several months, it still feels like “someone else’s story,” and I believe this will be true for some time here for our Image Makers family. Recently I turned to a good friend of mine who just lost her mother to try and get a handle on my own grieving process in losing our founder and friend, Tom Kaupp, and she said:
“Grieving is like a cloud…sometimes casting dark shadows and other times opening up to the sun and heavens. Eventually there will be more sun.”
Pushing past our personal sorrow and pain last fall, we had a big job to do: keep IMA up and running—but additionally, we were to begin the Ad Planning process for 2017. Around our long marble conference table sat all of our experts as we talked initially about how Tom presented plans, and ultimately, our new approach: as a team.
On March 1, 2017, I officially became the proud, grateful new owner of the agency. (More on me here.) Immediately I set out to realign roles and prepare offers for “the new company,” and it was a surprisingly easy task. Why? Because of that old saying, “The cream always rises to the top.” And that they did.
I invite you to review our new team page to see the same faces that have always been here, only now with new titles, and new roles and responsibilities to match.
These are the professionals that Tom put in place to help set us up for success, and I’m very proud and beyond thrilled to be working with them as the story of Image Makers continues.
